Kellie O’Connell Kindergarten

The official renaming ceremony of the Kellie O’Connell Kindergarten (formerly known as Ridgeway Parade Kindergarten) was held on Friday, 30th March 2012.

The centre was renamed in recognition of Kellie’s contribution to Early Childhood services in the Western Metropolitan Region of Melbourne but more specifically the City of Brimbank for over 14 years.

Kellie passed away in December 2010 after a battle with cancer at the age of 38.

Kellie’s family was in attendance at the ceremony along with representatives from the Brimbank City Council, Department of Education & Early Childhood Development, The Smith family, collegues and friends.
