About the Centre

Orama Street Child Care Centre is currently registered to accommodate 93 children. We offer full-time and part-time care for children aged 0-6 years.

Orama Street Child Care Centre aims to provide a high level of quality childcare which meets the needs of children and their families, this includes the family’s cultural, philosophical and linguistic needs.

Each fortnight the staff plan a program of activities and experiences which are designed to stimulate the children’s interest and foster their development.

The activities are planned according to the children’s developmental stages and include experiences in language, literature, music and movement, art and craft, dramatic play, science and maths experiences, sensory motor activities and activities that promote physical development, co-ordination and social skills. Individual records are kept on all children and these are directly linked to the programming.

A kindergarten program runs each day and is available to children who are 4 years of age as at the 30th of April. This session is run by a qualified Kindergarten Teacher.

Orama Street Child Care Centre is proud to be a Sunsmart Centre and also an “Eat Right Start Right” Centre. We are a fully accredited Centre and are also fully accredited as an Asthma and Epipen Centre.

Please feel free to contact the centre on 9363 5918 or drop into the centre in regards to registration.
